Josephine G. St. John, 87, of Granger passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022.  Josephine was born on August 2, 1934 in Lawton, MI to the late George and Beatta St. John.

Josephine graduated from South Bend Central High School and worked for 1st Source Bank for 30 years before retiring as Vice President of the Loan Department. She had a love for animals of all kinds and all the neighborhood animals and Pets knew where to come to get a treat.  She was also a U.S. History buff and loved to read.

Josephine was preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline and brother-in-law, Jerry Hess of Indianapolis, and her sister-in-law Martha St. John. She leaves behind brother, Guy St. John of Granger, IN; her nephews, Jeff Hess of Spencer, IN and Joel (Jennifer) Hess of Indianapolis; her nieces, Julie Gaskin of Indianapolis, Jill (Jack) Vicory of Utah and Allyson Leyba of Granger, IN, along with 7 great nephews, 3 great-great nieces and 1 great-great nephew.

There will be no services at this time.  The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Humane Society of St. Joseph County 2506 Grape Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
