Linda Lou (Brown) Hoffer

Linda Lou Hoffer, 54, of Columbia Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Sunday, Jan. 16, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Mishawaka. Linda was born on June 6, 1945, to Charles A. and Evelyn L. (Watts) Brown in South Bend, Ind. She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother, Evelyn L. Brown; two sons, Bill (Tammy) Hoffer of South Bend and Jonathon (Amy) Hoffer of Mishawaka; two daughters, Amanda Hoffer of Mishawaka and Mary Lou (Mike) Mills of New Carlisle, Ind.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Art Brown, Bill Brown, and Joe Brown, all of Mishawaka, and Mike Brown of South Bend; a sister, Lisa Jones of Mishawaka; as well as her lifelong friend and companion, William Turner of LaPorte, Ind.

Linda was a 1963 graduate of South Bend Central High School. She worked for the AT&T Cable Company in Mishawaka for eight years as a customer service representative.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 19, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, Ind. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, in the funeral home by Reverend Ron Hodges. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
