Carol (Niver) Nelson
September 30, 1944 ~ March 17, 2024 (age 79)
Carol Nelson, 79, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 30, 1944 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late David and Coral (McKeever) Niver. On March 21, 1964 she married Thomas A. Nelson who survives. Carol is also survived by one son, Steven R. Nelson of South Bend, Indiana and one grandson, Thomas D. Nelson of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Carol was also preceded in death by one brother David Niver.
A visitation for Carol will be held on Tuesday March 26, 2024 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Private entombment will take place at Highland cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.kaniewski.com.
