Cindy Lou (Reddish) Nitz
March 16, 1943 - January 16, 2024
Cindy Lou Nitz, 81, of Niles, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024. Born on March 19, 1943, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Robert and Anna (Quist) Reddish, Cindy's early years were filled with the warmth of a loving family.
Cindy leaves behind a legacy of love and kind-heartedness, which is carried on by her children, Jason (Kathy) Nitz of South Bend, and Angie Nitz of Niles, her devoted sister, Karen Ullery of North Liberty, as well as her adoring four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her professional days were spent at Kimberly's RVs in Elkhart, Indiana, where her friendly demeanor made a lasting impression. Cindy was an active congregant at the Ontwa Baptist Church, where her faith was nurtured and shared. Beyond her work and church life, she had a vibrant array of interests. She was ever-present at tractor shows, reflecting her innate curiosity and zest for life. Lake Baldwin was home to her cherished cabin, a place where she could relax by the water. Cindy's love for the outdoors was evident in her beautiful garden, and while indoors, she found joy in the simple pleasure of card games or watching her favorite show, "Little House on the Prairie."
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Charles Emil Nitz, and she continued to honor his memory through her unceasing affection and grace.
Per Cindy’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
