Brenda (Paul) Scott-Brown
Brenda Scott-Brown, 80, of Bellbrook, OH departed this life and was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on January 13, 2024. Brenda was born in Chicago, IL in 1943 to Aaron and Ruby (Strong) Paul.
Her compassion and dedication to the care of others led her to pursue a career in nursing, and after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, she went on to assume the role of Director of Nursing, a career spanning over 40 years.
Known for her immeasurable kindness and generosity, Brenda spent most of her life caring for her loved ones. An excellent cook and baker, she often catered events for family and friends. She was always willing to help anyone in need, and her acts of service spread to include her entire community.
Brenda was an active member of Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, devoting her time and energy as a member of the Deaconess Ministry and the Indiana Chapter of the Choral Society.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Albert Brown. She is survived by her sons, Andrae (Sheniqua) Scott, and Brett (Janay) Scott, and seven beautiful grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, and the void her loss has left in our lives can never be filled.
Services will be held for Brenda on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Donald Jordan Memorial Chapel, located at 4882 Germantown Pike, Dayton, OH 45417. The visitation will begin at. 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m.
