Lou Ellen (Biddle) Ridenour

Lou Ellen Ridenour, age 79, of Elkhart, IN passed away Saturday evening at the Raclin House, Center for Hospice Center. Lou Ellen was an office administrator for National Car Rental from 1988 to 2000 and then was Administrative Assistant at Gospel Center Missionary Church from 2000 – 2007. She was born on January 23, 1944 in Midland, MI to the late Lewis Melvin and Hilda Lavera (King) Biddle and has lived in this area most of her life.

On June 14, 1964, at Forestbrook Missionary Church, South Bend, Lou Ellen married James L. Ridenour who survives. Also surviving are two sons Thomas (Angelia) Ridenour of Mishawaka, Stephen (Debbie) Ridenour of Goshen, IN, a daughter, Kathleen (Lyle, Jr.) Millard of Lincoln Park, MI, eight grandchildren, Matthew Ridenour, Bethany (Carlos) Terrones, Malachi (Lori) Ridenour, Jonah (Haley) Ridenour, Micah (Annette) Ridenour, Elijah Millard, Chloe Ridenour and Joel Millard, four great grandchildren, Arryana, Carlos, Jael and Lainey, three sisters, Jean Borders of South Bend, Sandy Biddle of Mishawaka, and Debbie (Eric) Freel of South Bend.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, at Gospel Center Missionary Church, 930 South 30th Street, South Bend, IN 46615. Rev. Jon Ranous will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may gather with the family from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 11th at the Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel and one hour prior to services at church.

Lou Ellen was a 1961 Graduate of South Bend Central High School, and completed classes at Baker College in 1987. She was a faithful member of Gospel Center Missionary Church.
