Marion D. Zukowski, 86, of New Carlisle passed away peacefully on Monday December 4, 2023 at Miller’s Merry Manor in New Carlisle. Marion was born in South Bend on September 18, 1937 to the late John and Rose (Stefanski) Zukowski. After graduating High School Marion served his country in the United States Army.
Marion met and married Linda Dawson on January 1, 1960 in South Bend. Together they have 3 children. Left to cherish his memory are his children; Eric (Deanna) Zukowski and John Zukowski, grandchildren; Mike (Jenn) Cook, Jeremy (Rebecca) Zukowski, Janette (Dustin) Zukowski, great grandchildren; Zoey Zukowski, Sloan Cook, and Lincoln Carlson, and many nieces and nephews.
Marion was preceded in death by his wife Linda Zukowski, his parents John and Rose Zukowski, his daughter Christiana Cowgill, his grandson John Zukowski, II and his siblings; Lenoa, Lillian, Lorraine, and William.
Visitation for Marion will be held from 10am until 11 am at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend. A funeral service will begin at 11 am with burial to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made in Marion’s name to Camp Millhouse, 25600 Kelly Rd. South Bend, IN 46614.
