Shirley (Snider) Cunningham-Beckt

SHIRLEY CUNNINGHAM-BECKT CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL Shirley Cunningham-Beckt Chicago Heights, IL, formerly Richton Park / Harvey, IL died peacefully at the age of 69 on Monday, March 31, 2008 at her daughter's home in Temecula, CA. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her dogs as well as fishing and traveling. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in South Chicago Heights, IL.

Shirley is survived by her daughters: Dawn (Jim) Hunt (nee Cunningham) of Lansing, IL, Colleen (Jose) Quintero (nee Cunningham) of Temecula, CA, Jackie (Marc) O'Lena (nee Cunningham) of Griffith, IN and Joan (nee Cunningham) Piscitello of Plymouth, WI; daughter-in-kind, Linda (Charlie) White (nee Lawson) of Sauk Village, IL and Debbie (Bill) Fritz (nee Beckt) of Dyer, IN; stepson, Fred (Colleen) Beckt of Stegar, IL; brother, Bob Snider of Argos, IN; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren.

She was born in South Bend, IN and was preceded in death by husbands: Joseph Cunningham and George Beckt; parents: Cecil and Frieda Snider; sister, Audrey Lawson; grandson, Jimmy Hunt.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, 148 W. 26th Street, South Chicago Heights, IL with fellowship to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local Humane Society in her memory.
