SOUTH BEND - Private graveside services for Logan C. Pickerl, 67, of Downers Grove, Ill., formerly of South Bend, who died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in his home after an illness, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fremont, Mich. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Wheaton (Ill.) Bible Church. Adams-Winterfield Funeral Home, Downers Grove, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Pickerl retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

He was born March 30, 1923, in Edwardsburg. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Barbara Kois and Sally Ozze, both of Wheaton; two sons, John and Hanson, both of Wheaton; six grandchildren; a sister, Jane Derbin of South Bend; and his mother, Lottie Logan Pickerl of South Bend.

He was a graduate of the former Central High School and Purdue University
