Earl LeRoy Myers

Earl L. Myers, 45, of 1001 S. 32nd St., died in Memorial Hospital Thursday after an illness of five months. He had a heart condition.

He was born on Sept. 15, 1921, in Sedan, Ind., and came to the South Bend area as a child.

On March 31, 1942, in South Bend, he married Evelyn Palmer. He is survived by his widow; two sons, Daryl, at home, and Alvin, of Zion, Ill.; a daughter, Vera, at home; a grandchild; three brothers, Clarence of Mishawaka, Walter of Chicago, and Harry of Marysville, Ohio: and two sisters, Mrs. Neola Gilbert of Crown Point and Mrs. Ila Biggs of Battle Ground, Ind.

Friends may call at the Hollis Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saurday, at the funeral home, Rev. Frank Barcus, of the First English Lutheran Church, Mishawaka, officiating.

Mr. Myers was a member of the church. He was also a member of Mishawaka Lodge 130, F&A.M., the American Federation of Musicians and the River Park Lions Club. He was employed by the Dodge Manufacturing Corp., Mishawaka.
