Alice Twogood Luxton

May 23, 1984 - Apr. 26, 1963

 

Mrs. Alice Blodgett Luxton, 78, widow of Whiteside County Judge William A. Blodgett and mother of a Sterling attorney and a Boone County official, died Friday in Sterling. She had lived in a Sterling rest home for the past year.
 

She was married in 1908 to Judge Blodgett, who died in 1929. In 1934 she married George H. Luxton, who died three years ago.

Survivors include three sons, John Blodgett, Denver, Boone County Clerk Robert Blodgett, Belvidere, and Donald E. Blodgett, Sterling, who is Whiteside County public defender; and two daughters, Mrs. Don Demayo, LaMirada, Calif., nd Mrs. Jack McCartney, Belvidere.
