Abraham L. Cohen

SOUTH BEND - Abe L. Cohen, 95, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, died at 6:50 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Cohen retired in 1967 as office manager of Nehi Bottling Co.

He was born Oct. 1, 1899, in Russia and lived in South Bend most of his life.

On Aug. 24, 1946, in South Bend, he married Reah Newman. She survives with three sisters, Florence Halasz, Rose Pollak and Esther Cohen, all of South Bend; and two brothers, Ned of Chicago and Sam of Mishawaka.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday in the chapel of St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Forest G. Hay
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
