Theodore Halasz

Theodore Halasz, 74, of North Miami Beach, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died about 3:10 p.m. Saturday in the Hollywood Medical Center in Hollywood, Fla. He was the part-owner of Rosenbaum Clothing Store.

Mr. Halasz was born on Oct. 17, 1911, in Hungary.

On July 3, 1938, in South Bend, he married the former Evalyne Rosenbaum, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Bayla Kolton of Lake Hiawatha, N.J.; three sons, Gerald of Ohio, Donald of Plano, Texas, Howard of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; a sister, Irene Breisacher of Indianapolis; and a brother, Joseph of South Bend.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery. There will be no visitation. He was a member of B'nai Brith.
