SOUTH BEND Alex Kulcsar, 94, of South Bend, IN passed away at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in the Sanctuary at Holy Cross, South Bend, IN. He was born on December 20, 1916 in South Bend to Emery and Elizabeth (Elo) Kulcsar.
On December 20, 1940 in South Bend, IN he married Helen Jean (Lauver) Kulcsar who preceded him in death on November 13, 2009. Seven brothers and six sisters preceded him in death
Mr. Kulcsar is survived by his sister, Irene Kulcsar of Bremen, IN; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and great great-nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kulcsar was a lifelong area resident. He worked at NIPSCO for many years. He was a loyal member of Community Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 in Community Baptist Church, 5715 Miami, South Bend, IN. Burial will take place in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend and one hour prior to the services in church.
