John Demson nee Damjanac

John Demson, 45, brother of Sidney (Veda) Smith, Route 3, Peru, was killed instantly in an auto accident which occurred at 8 p.m. last Thursday on the Freeway 1 at San Bernardino, Calif.
According to reports, Demson, who resided in Pasadena, Calif., was driving a foreign sports car and failed to negotiate a curve. A male companion riding with Demson also was killed in the mishap.
Demson, who was a salesman for a book binding company in Los Angeles, is also survived by his wife, Mildred, and two children, Nancy and George, at home; two sisters, Miss Ann Demson of Marion and Mrs. Tom Hedrick of South Bend, and a brother, Peter Demson of Jackson, Mich.
Demson was born in South Bend, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Demson.
Burial took place Tuesday in Jackson, Mich.
