SOUTH BEND - Daniel Tobolski, 78, passed away at 4:03am on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Southfield Village. Daniel was born on September 23, 1934 in South Bend, to the late William and Anna (Kowalski) Tobolski.

On November 11, 1961, Daniel married Rose Ann (Kizinger), and she passed away December, 16, 2011. Daniel was also preceded in death by sisters, Sophie Jensen, Carrie Marosz, Helen Nettrouer, and Bertha Bentkowski; brothers, Bert, Casmir, and Joseph.

Daniel is survived by, son, David Tobolski of South Bend, daughter Laura Tobolski of North Liberty; and grandson, Kyle Lubelski; sisters, Henrietta Marosz, of South Bend, Delphine Ferguson, of Mishawaka, and Joan (Keith) Simmons of Palatine, IL.

Daniel honorably served his country in the US Army and worked for 45 years at PPG, Interstate Glass and Apogee Glass. He was a graduate of Central High School and was a devoted husband who took loving care of his wife during her 7 years of illness.
