Ellen C. Farkas

Ellen C. Farkas, 79, of Franklin Place, South Bend, died Sunday, June 29, in her residence. She was born Oct. 2, 1917, in South Bend, and had lived here all of her life.

Ellen was a graduate of South Bend Central High School, and retired from Associates Investment Company in 1983.

She is survived by her sister, Martha Phillips of Huntington, Ind.; three nieces and a nephew, Ann (Mary Ellen) Stuber of Mishawaka, Annette Norwood, Janet Tingle and Mike Phillips; and several great nieces and nephews. Her sister-in-law, Mildred A. Farkas of Mishawaka also survives.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Farkas in 1977, and by her nephew, Stephen Farkas in 1985.
