Mrs.W.L.Kimball Dies Wednesday
Resident of City for 33 Years Survived by Husband and Sisters.
Mrs. Kitty Holloway Kimball, wife of City Treasurer Willis L. Kimball, died at her home, 316 Lincoln Way E., Wednesday morning at 2:20 o'clock, following an illness from diabetes. She had been in ill health for the last three years and bedfast for eight weeks.
Mrs. Kimball was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Holloway. She was born at Sumption Prairie, St. Joseph county, Ind., March 14 1861, being 61 years old. She has resided in Mishawaka for 33 years coming from South Bend. Oct 18, 1888, she was married to W.L.Kimball, who survives. A daughter, Florence, died Dec. 17, 1896, at the age of nine months. She also leaves three sisters and a sister-in-law, Mrs. W.F.Miller, city: Mrs. Helen N. Warner, South Bend; Mrs. Alice Reece, Hooperston, Ill., and Mrs. Kate Holloway of Battle Creek, Mich.
Friends may view the body at the residence Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 o'clock p.m. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Warren W. Wiant of the Methodist Episcopal church will officiate. The pall bearers will be six nephews of Mrs. Kimball: Glenn Warner, Wilbur H.Warner, Robert Butterworth, Charles Holloway, J. Fred Bingham and Carlton H. Miller. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery, South Bend.
Mrs. Kimball was a member of the Methodit Episcopal church since childhood.
