Jennie G. Lovelace, 84, of 808 E. 24th St., died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday in her home. She was a retired employee of Slicks Engraving Co. Born June 19, 1902, in South Bend, she was a lifetime resident.
In 1924, in South Bend, she married Samual G. Jennings, who died in 1962.
In 1975, in South Bend, she married Donald J: Lovelace, who survives with two daughters, Rachel Livingston of Rangoon, Burma, and Jean Fess of Kalamazoo; two stepdaughters, Marilyn Simmerman of Indianapolis and Janet K. Blackburn of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, Samuel Jennings of Battle Creek, Mich., and Gerald Jennings of Ypsilanti, Mich.; a stepson, James E. Lovelace of Osceola; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Frances Billings and Florence Fidler, both of South Bend.
A daughter, Jacquelyn Elliott, died in 1979.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to River Park United Methodist Church, of which she was a member
