Mary (Doran) Wetherbee

ELKHART - Memorial services for Mary Doran Wetherbee, 83, of 2601 Oakland Ave., who died at 7 a.m. Sunday in Elkhart General Hospital, will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Walley-MillsZimmerman Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to services Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial services also will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, of which she was a member.

Mrs. Wetherbee was born Aug. 6, 1902, in South Bend.

On May 29, 1936, in Elkhart, she married Wilson J. Wetherbee. He died Aug. 15, 1968.

Surviving are a daughter, Sally Schultheis of Elkhart; a son, David G. of Bloomington, Ind.; five grandchildren; and a brother, James R. Doran of Harrisburg, Pa.

She retired in 1967 from the advertising department in the organ division of C.G. Conn Limited, where she worked for 25 years.
