Edith Winona Kollar

Mrs. Edith W. Kollar, 88, of 1534 Miami St., died at 2:40 p.m. Monday in the Ridgedale Nursing Home after an illness of a year and a half. She was born on June 27, 1884, in South Bend, and had lived here all her life. She was married in LaPorte on Aug. 31, 1912, as Edith Lauser to Harlen J. Kollar, who died in 1972. Surviving are two sons, Donald L. and Darrold J., both of South Bend; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Arthur Lauser of Bellevue, Wash.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Forest G. Hay & Son Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St., where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. P. Keith Bennett, pastor of the First Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Mrs. Kollar was a member of Chapter 2, O.E.S.
