Mabel Frost Bettcher

Nov. 3, 1883 - May 5, 1967

Mrs. Mable F. Bettcher, 83, of 202 N. Main St., North Liberty, died at 9:05 p.m. Friday in Holy Family Hospital, LaPorte, after a long illness. She was born Nov. 3, 1883, in North Liberty, and lived there all her life. She was married July 15, 1905, in Terre Haute, to Earl M. Bettcher, who died in 1940.

Surviving are two sons, Robert of North Liberty and Gerald of Elkhart; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Fair of Kewanna; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Palmer Funeral Home and until services in the funeral home at 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. Thomas Frost, pastor of the North Liberty Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery. She was a member of the North Liberty Order of Eastern Star 290; the North Liberty Methodist Church, and was a past president of the Liberty Twp. Parent-Teachers Assn.
