In 1989, Lisa married Thomas James Melton. Together, they relocated from South Bend, IN, to Detroit, MI, where they shared a beautiful life filled with travel, fishing, and devout service as members of Lighthouse Cathedral. Their union was a testament to enduring love and companionship. Lisa is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas James Melton, and her loving brothers: Duria (Butch) Love, Chris Love, Barnard Love, and Bernard Love. She leaves behind her cherished children: Bobby Edward Murray, Verlisa Murray (Hamilton), Diane Renee Murray (McDonald), Laura Ann Murray, Selena Maria Harris, and Zenovia Arlena Murray (Toledo). McDonald and her first husband, Joe William Murray. A proud graduate of Central High School in South Bend, IN, Lisa dedicated her life to her faith, serving as a member of Saints Memorial Church of God in Christ. She was a stalwart presence on the Usher Board and an Evangelist Prayer Warrior for Sumrall Ministries. Above all, Lisa loved Christ and lived her life with an infectious zest and spirit. She found joy in dancing, especially to "Step in the Name of Love" by R. Kelly. A talented cook, seamstress, and interior decorator, Lisa's natural gifts extended to singing, playing the piano, and upholstery. She also enjoyed a spirited game of baseball. Lisa's life was a symphony of love, faith, and creativity. As we remember her, let us celebrate the vibrant melody she brought into our lives. May her soul rest in eternal peace, forever dancing in the light of God's love.
