Doris Y. (Stafford) Newbill

South Bend — Services for Doris Y. Newbill, 40, of 111 S. Cherry St., who died about 11 a.m. Sunday in her home after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Augustine Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Clark's Funeral Chapel, where a prayer vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Newbill was a former employee of the St. Joseph County Public Library. She was born Feb. 25, 1953 in South Bend and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On Jan. 14, 1978 in South Bend, she married Rozell Newbill Jr. He survives with a daughter Tia L. at home; two sons, Dante A. and Rozell III both at home; her parents Lillian and Charles Stafford of South Bend; a brother, Wilkins B. Stafford of Bowie, MD; and a maternal grandfather A.S. Lively.

She was a graduate of Michiana College and a member of the church
