HELEN E. (CWIKLINSKI) VECLOTCH

SOUTH BEND - Helen Elizabeth Veclotch, 92, passed away on March 17, 2009, in New Port Richey, FL. Helen was born on November 24, 1916, in South Bend, IN, to the late Wladyslaw "Lodge" and Kathryn (Zakrzewski) Cwiklinski.

She attended St. Hedwig School for grades 1-8 and Central High School.

On November 24, 1937, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in South Bend ,she married Francis "Frank" A. Veclotch, who preceded her in death on August 9,1999, in Lake Worth, FL, where he and Helen had been living since leaving South Bend in 1963. Also preceding her in death were her oldest son, Arthur G. Veclotch, on December 4, 1990, in South Bend, and her sisters, Genevieve Cwiklinski in 2002 and Loretta Wasowski in 2008.

Helen is survived by her sons, James (Patricia) Veclotch of Lakeland, FL, Edward (Theo) Veclotch of New Port Richey, FL, Dennis (Joanne) Veclotch of Royal Palm Beach, FL, and Gary (Mindy) Veclotch of Tyrone, GA; her grandchildren, Beth (Brent) Chamberlin and Bruce (Kelli) Veclotch, both of South Bend, Tiffany (Jeffrey) Cascio of Deer Park, NY, Kathryn (Christopher) Tokarz of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Kelly Veclotch of Delray Beach, FL, Andrew Veclotch of Orlando, FL, Rachel Veclotch of New Port Richey, FL, Jason Veclotch of Tyrone, GA, and Cara Veclotch of Royal Palm Beach, FL; and her eight great-grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan and Amanda Chamberlin, Wiley and Bryn Tokarz, Haley, Ashley and Ryan Cascio. Helen has three surviving sisters, Alfreda Baranowski of South Bend, Dorothy Cwiklinski of Mishawaka and Zita Wojcik of Des Plaines, IL.

A funeral Mass was held at the Church of the Resurrection in Lakeland, FL, on March 20, 2009. Helen will be interred at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, FL.
