NORMA (MURPHY) SPOHNHOLZ

Norma Murphy Spohnholz95, a native and long time resident of South Bend, Indiana, died on Sunday, June 13, 2004, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born September 18, 1908 in South Bend, Indiana to George and Mary Etta Murphy. .

Preceded in death by her husband, Charles,

Norma is survived by her son, Conrad Spohnholz, of Phoenix and by her daughters, Conni McDonough of Phoenix and Caroline Wolfe of Oberlin, Ohio, nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Central High School and Bethel College. She taught English at Central High School for several years. She was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church.

A memorial service will be held In South Bend at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. James on Saturday, July 24th at 10:30 am. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley, 3238 North 16th St, Phoenix, AZ, 85016-7107 or to Safe Haven, Inc., 2345 W. Buckeye Road, Phoenix, AZ, 85009, a non-profit community development corporation.
