Helen L. Miller (nee Mieleszewicz)

Helen L. Miller Aug. 13, 1913 - Aug. 22, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Helen L. Miller, 101, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 8:15 am. Friday, August 22, 2014, at the Sanctuary at St. Paul's, South Bend. She was born on August 13, 1913, in Poland, to Peter and Mary (Koza-newska) Mieleszewicz.

Miss Miller is survived by many nieces and nephews including two nieces, Patti Jo (Gerald R., II) Wallis of New Carlisle, IN, and Sandra J. (Danny L.) Wright of South Bend, IN, and sister-in-law, Betty R. Mieleszewicz of South Bend, IN.

he was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ann Kistler; and two brothers, Joseph F. Mieleszewicz and Stanley Miller. Miss Miller had lived in South Bend and Mishawaka since 1921, moving from Poland. She retired from the Bendix Corporation in 1972 after 39 years and was a member of the Bendix Union #9.

She attended Central High School in South Bend.

Per Helen's wishes, a private burial will be held at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
