LOTTIE B. (PRZYBYLSKI) LITKA

Lottie B. Litka Jan. 17, 1924 - Feb. 16, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Lottie B. Litka, 91, passed away at 8:12 am, Monday, February 16, 2015 in her home. Lottie was born January 17, 1924 in New Carlisle to the late Stanley and Catherine (Rybacki) Przybylski.

On November 26, 1942 in South Bend Lottie married Clem Litka and he preceded her in death on July 28, 2012. Lottie is also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Litka; brother, Anthony Przybylski; sisters, Harriet Buzalski, Clara Piasicki, Jo Ann Lisek, Mary Ann D'Haeze, Stella Palka, and Betty (Eli) West; and a granddaughter, Laurie Thornton.

Survivors include daughter, Michelene (Michael) Szymczak; son, Clem H. (Peggy) Litka, Jr.; grandchildren, David (Sheila) Szymczak, Patrick (Tracy) Szymczak, Cortney (Jeff) Couture, Ryanne (Matt) Johns, Casey (Catherine) Litka and Aimee (Steve) Niespodziany; and nine great grandchildren, Nashley, Brianna, Luke, and Arrianna Szymczak, Conner Litka and Jolie and Landon Johns, Maggie and Olivia Couture and Bo Niespodziany.

Lottie attended Central High School and retired from RACO in 1989 after 17 years of service.

She was a member of the American Legion Post 357 Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, playing Euchre and watching basketball. She loved her family and family gatherings.

Visitation is 4-8 pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 am Thursday, February 19, 2015 in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
