WILLIAM R. "BILL" JONES

William R. "Bill" Jones, age 56, of Kouts, passed away Friday, September 12, 2003. A Kouts resident for 25 years, he was born January 6, 1947 in Hoesington, Kansas to Russell and Helen (Gibson) Jones and graduated from South Bend Central High School.

He was a truck driver and a member of Cornerstone Community Church.

On June 15, 1979 in Wanatah he married Teresa Wadsworth who survives along with three step daughters, Roxanne Melcher of Kouts, Heidi (Aaron) Anderson of Kentucky and Wendy (David) Mullins of Hebron; one sister, Alverna (Larry) Cersmesse of New Carlisle, one step brother, Rick Koontz of LaPorte; one sister-in-law, Sheila Koontz of Monticello and two nephews, Michael and Benjamin Koontz of Monticello and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Stephen.

Funeral services will be Monday, 10:30 AM at Cornerstone Community Church, Pastor Jay Birky officiating with cremation to follow at Angelcrest Crematory. Visitation Sunday 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Kosanke Funeral Home, Kouts. Memorials may be made as the family wishes. angelcrestinc.com
