DORIS L. (YEAGLEY) HANYZEWSKI

Doris Lillian Yeagley/Hanyzewski became our special angel on November 20, 2022 at 2:24 pm. After fighting so very hard to beat the return of cancer the Lord called her home. She was born on February 11, 1933 in the small community of Lakeville, Indiana to Earl Edgar Yeagley and Ethel Bernice Mangun.

Her family moved to Roger Street in South Bend and she attended Central High School where she played in the band. More importantly, on that street she met Eugene Franklin Hanyzewski.

They married on December 16, 1950 while Gene came home for a short leave from the Air Force.

Doris was preceded in death by her siblings Earl, Kenneth, Don, Betty and Barbara and is survived by siblings Virginia who resides in Tucson and Linda who lives in Show Low.

Her family was always the cornerstone of her life and the source of her proudest moments. During their 72 years of marriage they welcomed 4 Children; Brenda, Sandra (Davis), Gary and Cheryl; 9 grandchildren ** 8 great grand children ** and 4 great great grandchildren.
