SOUTH BEND - Frederick Arthur ""Art"" Bradley, 102, of South Bend, Indiana, departed this life at 9:00 p.m., Thursday January 7, 2016 in River Crest Village nursing home.

Mr. Bradley was born on August 19, 1913 in South Bend, Indiana to George Alva and Myrtle Belle Bradley both who preceded him in death. He attended South Bend Central High.

On April 1, 1937 he married Mary Katherine ""Pidge"" Dunson who proceeded him in death. Art met Mary while attending Perley Elementary School. He and Pidge were united in holy matrimony on April 1, 1937. From this union, six children were born.

Throughout the years, Art was employed by several employers, two of which were Bendix Corporation and Studebaker Corporation. He also was employed by Allied Corporation where he became chairman of his plant, UAW local #5. While at Allied he traveled extensively to conventions throughout the United States.

Art loved to sing. This was exhibited by his participation in the Burleigh Music Association of South Bend. He also received request to sing at various venues and on request, his special birthday song.

He is survived by a daughter Katherine Bradley-Wright of Chicago, Illinois and two sons, Neil A. (Jacqueline) Bradley of Detroit, Michigan and Dennis A. Bradley of Chicago, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren, Veronica D. Williams, W. Lamar Williams, Garrick (Vanessa) Bradley, Arthur Wright, Jeffery (Jackie) Small, Michael (Loretta) Bradley, Tracey Bradley, Agnes Bradley, Theresa Bradley, Nancy (Daniel) Love, Kayla (Lenell) Brown, Geoffrey (Gerisha) Toler, Maisha (Ronald) Humphrey, and Robert ""Robbie""Kirk, thirty-five great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild, one sister-in-law, Dolores (Clifton) Bullard of New York, New York, two nieces, Asha Bandele of New York and Anne Bullard-Coleman of California, one daughter-in law, Linda Bradley of Las Vegas, Nevada; ; a nephew, James Bradley (Kim) of Flossmoor, Illinois and a niece Judy Caldwell.of Rockville, Maryland, a special cousin Colleen (Harry) Reed; one foster daughter, Mary P. Austin of South Bend, Indiana. Special friends, Howard Frazier, Joy Andexler, and Brian Hedman and Bill Flynn and, mailman, Gerald Miller.

He was preceded in death by a son Kenneth A. Bradley, two daughters, Patricia A. Williams and Arlene J. Bradley-Kirk, two grandchildren, Travis Bradley and Kamilah Kirk; and three brothers, Kenneth Bradley, James E. Bradley, Harold Bradley, and a sister.
