Catherine L "Katie" (Winrott) Crocker

MISHAWAKA — Services for Catherine L. "Katie" Crocker, 73, of Grape Road, who died at 12:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness, will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation of Indiana. Mrs. Crocker had been employed at Kmart for 29 years, retiring in 1993.

She was born April 8, 1922, in South Bend. In June, 1944, in Mishawaka, as Catherine Winrott, she married James L. Crocker. He died Jan. 22, 1972. Surviving are two daughters, Vawnlea Recla of Niles and Kathie Snyder of Lima, Ohio; a son, James R. of Muskegon, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
