Hildegarde F. “Hilda” Rybicki Governale

Hildegarde Governale, 93, of Tucson, passed away Oct. 29, 2015.

She was born in South Bend, Indiana Apr. 14, 1922.

She is survived by sister, Jo Prawat of South Bend; daughter, Susan (Mike) Treece; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Hilda made her career at AT&T and retired after 30 years of service. She joined and became very active in the Elks Club. She loved playing bingo, going to Las Vegas and watching sports.

Her last six years she lived at Brookdale Assisted Living where she was loved and made many new friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Peters; 2nd husband, James Governale; son, Bryan Peters; daughter, Kathy Eichman and Sally Glines.

Funeral service will be held a 11:00 am November 6, 2015 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary.
