In Memory

Frank Joseph “Pappy” Papczynski
Jun 29, 1921 - Jul 4, 2013
Frank was in the US Navy during WWII. He worked at The Bendix Corporation in South Bend, IN. When he moved to Sebring, FL with Loretta, they both took up square dancing. Until the old bones told them they couldn't do it any more.
He started to collect cans and crushing them and get money then he would donate the money to worthy charities and to the Hobby Shop at Buttonwood Bay. He always gave the money to the softball team.
He fell on Father's day (2013) and had surgery on his broken hip. On June 29 he celebrated his 92nd birthday. He developed pneumonia and died at 9 a.m. July 4. He was cremated on July 11 and we brought daddy home on July 12th.
He may not have been famous to many people, but he was the best daddy anyone could have had. He was a loving husband to mom. They would have been married for 70 years in November.
He was a loving dad to my brother Jim (Judy) Papczynski. He was a loving daddy to Lynn (Kenny) Hudak. A loving grandpa to Brian (Nikki)
When mom passes away, their ashes will be put together and they will be buried in the St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN
