Delores M. Connell, 78, of Harvard, IL., formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away Friday, May 11, in the Winchester House, Libertyville, Ill. She was born Aug. 11, 1922, in South Bend. the daughter of Millard and Mabel (Six) Mendenhall She was preceded in death by her parents.

For 27 years she worked as a secretary for the Bendix Corporation in South Bend. She was a member of Christ Temple in South Bend.

She is survived by a daughter. Judy (Lee) Biastock of Harvard: three grandchildren, Michael (Wendy) Biastock of Waukegan. III , Lisa (Steven) Robb of Round Lake Park, III., and Amy (fiancé, David Schultz) Biastock of Huntley. six great-grandchildren, two brothers, Chester (May) Mendenhall and Richard (Donna) Mendenhall, both of South Bend, and by an aunt. Geraldine Zion of South Bend
