Betty Lou Walsh

SOUTH BEND - Betty L. Walsh, 69, of 1618 Rockne Drive, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal. Miss Walsh retired from Sears, Roebuck and Co. after 45 years of service as a clerk. She was born June 28, 1925, in South Bend.

She is survived by five sisters, Mary K. Shoemaker, Marjorie Horn, Gerry Snelling and Evelyn Walsh, all of South Bend, and Genieve Berger of Jonesville, Mich.; and a brother, Patrick T. of South Bend.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call two hours before services in the funeral home.
