Victor E. Paxson Sr.

Victor E. Paxson Sr., 76, of 709 Rex St., died at 8 p.m. Saturday near Edwardsburg, Mich. He apparently suffered a fatal heart attack while driving his auto. He was a retired employee of the Ball Band Plant in Mishawaka.

He was born March 5, 1890 in Middlebury, Ind. He had lived in South Bend most of his life. He married Betty Adelsperger Miller in South Bend on June 14, 1913. She died in 1954.

Survivors include a son, Victor E. Paxson Jr. of South Bend: two daughters, Mrs. Roland J. Haney of South Bend and Mrs. Norbert Noecker of Allegan, Mich.; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Monday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home. Services tentatively are set for Wednesday. He was a member of Portage Lodge 675, F&AM the Scottish Rite, Valley of South Bend and Murat Temple of Indianapolis.
