Clara Partridge was born at Niles, Michigan and was a graduate of Oberlin College. She married Emory L. Dial on Aug. 22, 1896 in Ohio.

A few years after their marriage they moved to Ashtabula Co. and settled at Colebrook. Emory was a doctor and was a member of the surgical staff at the Lutheran Hospital.

Age 80 years.
