Ralph Keltner, 83, of 4250 Galt Ocean, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, after a year's illness. Keltner was a part-owner of the former Indiana Lumber Co. Born on Aug. 10, 1891, in South Bend, he had lived here until moving to Florida seven years ago.

In August, 1962, he married Rose Segal, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Miller of Indianapolis and Mrs. John E. King of Perrysburg, Ohio, and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William. Rev. Daniel W. Fowler, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Keltner was a 50-year member of South Bend Lodge 294, F&AM; the Scottish Rite, Valley of South Bend; Murat Shrine Temple, Indianapolis, and was a World War I Navy veteran. He also was a 1911 graduate of South Bend Central High School and attended the University of Minnesota.

Masonic memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home
