Dr. Edmund A Probst

Dr. Edmund A. Probst, 67, of 112 N. St. Louis Blvd., past president of the South Bend Board of Health and St. Joseph County Dental Society, died Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital. He had been ill for the last week.

Dr. Probst was born on Dec. 30, 1898, in South Bend and married Frances Mae Knowles in 1926 in Chicago. She survives. He also is survived by three sons, Edmund and Joseph, both of South Bend, and John, of San Francisco; two daughters, Mrs. Cynthia Haggerty of West Haven, Conn., and Miss Mary Gail, of South Bend; four grandchildren; two brothers, Otto of South Bend and John of Wyandotte, Mich., and three sisters, Mrs. Noemi Davis and Mrs. Angela McNamara, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Aveline [McNamara, of Marion, Ind.

Friends may call in the WalshBilancio-Guisinger Colonial Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
