G. Kenneth Hewitt

George Kenneth Hewitt, 67, of Holland, Mich., and Sarasota, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died Saturday in Bradenton, after an illness of three months. He was a retired Michigan Bell Telephone Co. employee. He was born May 9, 1901, in South Bend and lived here 20 years before moving to Holland.

In 1957 he married the former Josephine Antas, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Harold of Jackson, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call. after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Orvis Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Richard A. Curtis, canon of the Cathedral of St. James, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
