John R. White nee Wojtysiak

April 13, 1915 – January 5, 1988

John R. (White) Wojtysiak, 72, of 1144 E. Ewing Avenue, died at 4am today in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Wojtysiak retired in 1975 from White Farm Equipment, where he was an inspector.

He was born April 13, 1915, in South Bend, where he lived all his life.

On May 24, 1941, in South Bend, he married Marie Sprug, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Judith Ann Stoffel of West Terre Haute IN; a son, David White of Chicago; five grandchildren; a sister, Irene Pauwels of South Bend; and two brothers, Alex White of San Diego and Walter White of Goleta CA.

Services will be at 1pm Thursday at St. Matthew Cathedral. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday at Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
