Joseph Frederick Poston

Word has been received of the death of Joseph F. Poston, 71, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of South Bend, at 2 a.m. Sunday in Tulsa after an illness.

Mr. Poston was a retired bus driver for the Oakland (Calif.) Transit Authority. He was born June 9, 1914, in South Bend.

Surviving are a son, Chris Poston of Los Angeles; two sisters, Peggy Christy and Alice Williams, both of South Bend; three stepsisters, Luvada Jackson and Colleen Reid, both of South Bend, and Greta Grayson in California; a brother, George Poston of Los Angeles; two stepbrothers, Jackie and Jimmie Grayson, both of Los Angeles; and his mother, Winifrid Grayson of South Bend.

Dyers Memorial Chapel, Tulsa, is in charge of arrangements. Cremation has taken place in Tulsa
