Thomas O. Pettit

Thomas O. Pettit, 68, of 931 S. Twyckenham, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after a brief illness. He was an employee of Rink-Riverside Printing Co. He was born on Nov. 20, 1914, in Indianapolis and was a lifetime resident of South Bend.

On Sept. 25, 1937, he married Catherine Guin. She survives with two sons, Thomas R. of Indianapolis and Christopher A. of Granger; three granddaughters; and a sister, Mrs. Helen Grubb Ruley of Oak Ridge, Tenn.

He was active in the graphic arts industry in the Michiana area for many years. There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will be at the Riverview Crematory, followed by burial. Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home is making arrangements.
