Ruth (Worden) Lewis

Ruth Worden Lewis, 80, of 902 E. Fox St., died at 11:05 a.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Lewis was born March 28, 1906, in Albion, Ind., and lived in South Bend since 1915.
In 1929, in South Bend, as Ruth Worden, she married Walter J. Lewis. He died Oct. 12, 1968. A son, Bruce, died in 1983.
She is survived by a son, David of South Bend; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Faith United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. She was a member of the church, where she served on the executive board of United Methodist Women Scatter Good Group and Faith Circle.
