Ray B. Morningstar

Ray B. Morningstar, aged 28, of the Johnson road, rural route No. 7, South Bend, died at 11:45 o'clock Monday night in his home following six months' illness of cancer.

He was born in South Bend on Sept 23, 1906, and lived here life, employed as a gasoline station attendant by the Standard Oil company. He married Edith Eckhart, who survives, Dec. 28, 1928. Surviving mother, Mrs. Viola Morningstar; brothers, Glenn, of Elkhart, Ind., and Clyde and George, of South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Flint, of South Bend, and Mrs. Hazel Pollitt, of Roseland, this county.

The body may be viewed in the G. O. Gaff mortuary until the time of the funeral service to take place at 2:30 o'clock of Thursday afternoon with E. W. Stanz, reader of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in charge. Burial will be in Highland cemetery.
