Joseph W. Calvert

Joseph W. Calvert, 42. of Park Forest, Ill, a former South Bend resident, died Wednesday in Park Forest. He had suffered from a heart condition. Mr. Calvert was born in South Bend and was graduated from Central High School. He attended Indiana University, Bloomington, before entering the Navy  during World War II.

His widow, Lucille, survives. Also surviving are two sons, John and James, both of Park Forest, and a daughter, Miss Janet of Park Forest, a sister Mrs. Earle Straw of Mishawaka; and two brothers, Hamilton of Niles, and Charles of Mexico City.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Lain Funeral Home, Park Forest, Ill., where burial will also be
