Arnold P. Strickler

SOUTH BEND Arnold P. Strickler, 89, of Medco Center, formerly of 2310 Washington Ave., died at 9:03 Friday in Medco Center. Mr. Strickler retired from Bendix Corp. in 1969 as a chemist after 22 years of service. He was born June 24, 1904, in South Bend and lived in the area most of his life.

On Nov. 12, 1936, in South Bend, he married Frances P. Studebaker. She survives with a sister, Evelyn Flynn of Chicago.

He was a member of First Baptist Church and former member of American Chemical Society. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the church. Cremation will take place. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church or St. Peter's United Church of Christ
