SOUTH BEND - Emma T. Nelson, 86, of 1920 S. Catalpa St., died at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday at Cardinal Meridian Nursing Home. She was a bookkeeper for Wilson Brothers and retired from South Bend Lathe as a bookkeeper.

She was born Dec. 6, 1905, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident.

She was a graduate of Central High School. She was a life member of the Evangelical Covenant Church and Rum Village Neighborhood Association.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Welshelmer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Highland. Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to any charity
