Edward W. Lean

Edward W. Lean. 67. of 3311 Addison St. died at 7:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack early today in his residence. He was born on Jan. 14, 1905 in Chicago. and had lived in South Bend most of his life.

On Nov. 29. 1934, he married Hilda Raby. who survives. along with daughter, Mrs. Bardhyl Pogoni of Lucca, Italy: a son. Maj. Edward W. Jr. of Fort Benning, Ga., five grandchildren. and a sister, Violet (Theodore) Morris of South Bend.

Mr. Lean was a 50-year employee of Gilbert's Men's Clothing.

The Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements
